Master Behavioral Ethics, Economics and Psychology at IW Academy

The extra-occupational master course is offered by the IW Academy and its cooperation partner, the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. It is accredited by the FIBAA and imparts technical and personal management skills for (future) managers in private or public enterprises. As the master is not consecutive, it is suited for students of all areas, who are interested in the disciplines economics, psychology and ethics.

The master course is unique, because…

• it links the content of various disciplines (economics, psychology and ethics) systematically
• the modules are connected stringently and without doubling
• research and practice are combined to not only deal with scientifically oriented but also application oriented contents
• it is designed efficiently and thus allows intense discussions in small groups of maximal 25 students – in the seminar rooms and online
• the students only have to be present for 1 week and 4 weekends per semester which reduces the opportunity costs compared to a full time program.

Master Behavioral Ethics, Economics and Psychology at IW Academy: Course of study

The regular study period is 4 semesters and includes 90 ECTS-credits. The course starts in the winter semester. Each of the first three semesters include one introductury week and 4 weekends, which all take place in cologne. In the fourth semester students will do research in ordert o write their master thesis and prepare for the conclusive colloquium. The most important basics are taught in the first semester. They will be deepened in the following two semesters and applied to private and professional behaviour. The academic title „Master of Arts“ will be awarded by the Cologne University of Applied Sciences after a successful completition of the course.
