Das MCI präsentiert einen unternehmerisch ausgerichteten, englischsprachigen Masterstudiengang, der sich auf die technologischen Aspekte von Medizin, Gesundheit, Rehabilitation, Prävention und Sport konzentriert. Innovative Methoden aus Digitalisierung, Robotik und künstlicher Intelligenz ermöglichen es den Studierenden, Herausforderungen sowohl in Medizintechnik als auch Sporttechnologie zu meistern und erlauben ein individuelles Studium nach persönlichen Interessen. Studierende wählen bereits zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung zwischen den Vertiefungsrichtungen Medizintechnik oder Sporttechnologie und erlangen nach 4 Semestern den Titel "Master of Science in Engineering".

Gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern haben wir diesen wegweisenden Studiengang entwickelt, um Ihnen im Rahmen spannender Lehrveranstaltungen und umfangreicher Projektarbeiten eine erstklassige Ausbildung zu bieten. Mit einem hochkarätigen Mix aus internationalen Dozent:innen aus Hochschule und Praxis, starkem Praxisbezug und Einbindung neuester Entwicklungen, werden Absolvent:innen bestens vorbereitet, um als Fach- und Führungskräfte in technologieorientierten Unternehmen zu arbeiten oder direkt in Kliniken, Gesundheitseinrichtungen und Sportverbänden tätig zu werden.

Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis. The required documents are to be submitted online. Applicants are welcome to apply for multiple programs of study, as long as a plausible rationale is given. The final decision may be taken by the end of the application procedures.
Requirements
The Master program in Medical & Sports Engineering is open to graduates of Bachelor and Diploma programs in the fields of engineering/engineering science or natural sciences whose curricula involve at least 50 relevant ECTS points. The decision on the acceptability of prior qualifications is taken by the Program Director.
This Master program is an ideal follow-on such Bachelor programs as Medical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering and IT. Admission will also be considered for graduates of study programs whose curricula correspond to the prerequesites mentioned above in the field of Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Programming and Medicine.
Information for graduates whose previous degree is based to a significant extent on formally acknowledged recognition of prior learning:
In this case it may be possible that the legal and/or degree specific admission requirements are not or only partly fulfilled. Please consider the relevant legal regulations for this instance (§ 4 Abs 4 iVm § 12 FHStG). Recognition of previous qualifications in the master program:
Applications for recognition of examinations or credits obtained through other study programs or previous scientific experience must be submitted to the Program Director. A decision will only be taken in cases where the application for admission has met with a positive decision. Recognition of credits or previous experience is only granted for individual classes in the program.
