This postgraduate study aims to offer students from a variety of intellectual backgrounds, the opportunity to explore a wide range of aspects of German culture, thought and history. The course provides students with an excellent foundation in most elements of German Studies at an advanced level.

Subjects such as German literature, culture, history, politics, and social and political thoughts will accompany you during your study. Most universities help you improve your German language skills in communication and in writing. At some universities you can specialise in the educational part of German studies and attend pedagogical classes.

After the one to two years Masters course in German Studies, you will be accredited the title Master of Arts or Master of Education.
