Overview of the Masters programme

This programme is designed for those who already hold a Bachelors degree or similar degree in education or an allied field. It will last one to two years and you will be provided with the academic title Master of Education.

You will have subjects like educational aspects, psychology, sociology and also medicine. A strong emphasis lies on combining your theoretical know-how with your practical understanding. The goal of the Master of Special Needs Education is to know about the emotional, mentally and social development of your pupils, as well as the physical and motor progress.

People with disabilities or disadvantages, who have a difficult family background, need special help to participate in daily life. In particular, participation in a normal school education is often very difficult to arrange. You will spend time with these social groups and give them new opportunities, so they can develop in the best possible way.

After the completion of the Masters programme

The Master of Special Needs Education qualifies you as a teacher in school institutions or other integrated facilities, whereby you have kids at the age of preschool up to grown-ups. The Master course will also allow you an academic career in colleges and universities.
